Carina Redsox remains part of the Brisbane Metropolitan Region consisting of Windsor Royals, Allstars and Pine Hills.  Players from Little League Majors to U20 are eligible to try out for the Brisbane Metro teams to play in Regional and National tournaments around the country.

The last 3 seasons has seen Brisbane Metro win both Little League State Titles back to back. With the last 2 seasons under the guidance of Redsox’s own JDO and Under 14 Coach, Scott Brockie, the team competed at the Little League National Championships on the Gold Coast.

Cal Ripken World Series Tour

The Cal Ripken World Series is a life changing opportunity for young Aussie Baseball players to represent their country on one of the most exciting baseball tours in the World. Since 2001 the Cal Ripken program has been steadily developing some of Australia's youngest stars, highlighted by the large number of former Cal Ripken players that have gone on to represent their country at AA, AAA and now even senior level.

As is the process each year, the 15 players selected will be drawn from players nominated by their respective state associations after scouting and selection trials, and each will carry the hopes for Australia - building on the solid performances displayed by Aussies in the Cal Ripken Series over the past eight years.

Timberjacks International Friendship Series

Is held in July every year in Lismore for teams from Little League to U18’s. Far North Coast puts on a well organised friendly tournament at their fields. Brisbane Metro holds trials during the off season for selection into various teams. This is a great opportunity for juniors to improve and develop their skills for the upcoming playing season.

Little League China Tour

Eligible Little League players are invited to try out for selection into this prestigious tour of Beijing, China. Players will play games against various International teams in the morning and visit iconic places: Tiananmen Square, The Great Wall, Beijing Zoo, Summer Palace, Silk Alley and the Forbidden City. Apart from improving their baseball skills this is a wonderful opportunity to travel and see parts of the world not seen before and create lasting friendships both local and overseas. Parents and friends are welcome to travel as well.

Our website and your team coach will keep you updated on upcoming try outs.
