SENIORS:
All players born 1992 and beyond. Registration fees for the season will remain at $400 which includes a ticket to end of season trophy night.
Uniform costs are approx $215 for pants, playing shirt, training shirt, cap, socks and belt.

Recoup your fees by umpiring senior games, Plate pays $20 per game and $10 for base.
Starts dates:
October 3rd for GBL Minor League Competitions (SQBL)
September 26th - Major League qualifying rounds commence. (15 rounds over 8 weeks)
November 26th - Major League & Pacific Leagues commence.
SEASON FORMAT:
SQBL A Grade games are played on a Sunday morning at 9.00am. SQBL C Grade games are played on a Sunday morning at 11.30am.
SQBL B Grade games are played on a Sunday afternoon at 2.00pm.
Major League and Pacific League B Grade games are played on a Sunday morning at 11.30am.
Major League and Pacific League A Grade games are played on a Friday Night at 7.30pm and a Sunday afternoon at 2.00pm.
Major League Qualifying Rounds:
To determine the clubs in each of the Leagues, the GBL will conduct a round robin. At the conclusion of the qualifying rounds, BQ will determine the number of clubs in each league, according to the standings. Clubs that win through to the Major League are required to meet the BQ criteria for that League. Failing this, the club will be placed in the Pacific League and the next highest ranked Pacific League club will be invited to play in the Major league, as long as the criteria can be met.
Training:
SQBL Grades will have pre-season training from Sunday August 22nd 10am-12pm then Thursdays during the season from 6.30pm.
Major B & A Grade - Training has commenced on a Wednesday night from 7pm and Saturdays at 2pm.
GAME RULES:
MAXIMUM RUNS THAT CAN BE SCORED - Unlimited runs per innings.
- All games in the Major League and Pacific League A grade are nine innings or if a night game then it will be nine innings or 2 1/2 hours whichever comes first. Refer B,G and H.
- During night games the umpire will call the game when the two and a half hour limit is reached, so long as the following criteria are satisfied: 1. A minimum of 5 innings has been played (four and a half if the home team has scored more runs than the visiting team. 2. At the completion of any inning beyond the 5th innings where one team has more runs than their opposition.
- Major League and Pacific League B Grades will be 7 innings or 2 hours, whichever come first. Please refer to G and I.
- SQBL games will be will be 7 innings or 2 hours, whichever comes first. Please refer to G and I.
- The start time for Major league and Pacific League day and night games shall be: Night 7.30pm, B Grade 11.30am, A Grade 2pm and any earlier game scheduled at the same ground 9am.
- In the event of Major League and Pacific League A Grade games 7 innings. Lower grade games should finish on time. Please refer to G and I. The scheduled start times will be:
Major League and Pacific League A Grade 1.30pm,
Major League and Pacific League B Grade 11.00am,
If an earlier game is scheduled at the same ground 8.30am. - An innings started before the scheduled finishing time shall be completed. An inning starts immediately after the final out of the previous innings.
- In Major League and Pacific League A Grade games, five innings shall constitute a regulation game. Four and a half innings are sufficient if the home team has scored more runs than the visiting team.
- In all other games 4 innings shall constitute a regulation game. 3 and a half are sufficient of the home team has scored more runs than the visiting team.
- A game of fewer than the respective minimum number of innings shall be declared a "no game".
- If any senior team has less than nine players at any time, then the game will be called a forfeit.
- Any game started late must finish at the scheduled time.
- If either Major League or Pacific League A Grade team is leading by 10 runs or more after 7 equal innings (5 in double header), or 6 and a half innings (four and a half in a double header) if the home team is leading, then the game will be called as a complete game. In lower grades, the 10 run "rule" will be invoked after 5 complete innings or four and a half if the home team is leading.
ELIGIBILITY FOR FINALS:
To be eligible for the 2010/11 season senior finals, players must start in the minimum number of games listed below:
- Major League and Pacific League A Grade 14 games
- Major League and Pacific League A Grade 7 games
- SQBL A, B and C Grades 7 games
The majority of games started must not be in a higher grade.
