Junior Welcome Letter 2009/10 |

Sunday, 28 June 2009 |
My name is Scott Brockie and I am the Junior Development Officer at Carina Redsox Baseball Club. Firstly, I would like to welcome our new players and families to our club and welcome back to our returning players and families.
My role at this club is to ensure all our junior players are getting the best experience within our great game and making sure they are developing their skills correctly so we reduce the possibility of injuries out on the playing field. Although winning is nice, player development is far more important and if we teach baseball the correct way, the winning side of things will take care of itself.

We will be running specific skills clinics during the season for our Little League players through to our under 18 players which will give these young players a chance to fine tune the different aspects of their game.
Carina Redsox Baseball Club is a family orientated club and we would love for the parents to get involved with your son, or daughters team. We run coaching, umpiring and scoring clinics to help teach parents so they can feel confident in being involved with our teams so if you are interested in helping out in one of these rolls you will have the full support of the club behind you.
Our junior players are the future of this club. If there is anything you require during the season whether it be extra coaching or if you have any issues or concerns within your team or the club, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss your needs further.
I am sure both you and your children will have an enjoyable season and develop some long lasting friendships along the way.
Yours in baseball
Scott Brockie
